I was finally able to finagle a work schedule change, thus allowing me to make the drive up to Cincinnati for Ault Park. I drove up with Jim, who was planning on doing the 1-2-3's with Royden and Greg. Given this was my first experience with the points race format, I decided to take it easy and get a sense for the flow of the race.

Once I worked that out, I thought I'd see what I could do about earning some points. I should probably learn to count, since coming across the line second on the 'wrong' lap doesn't earn you anything. On the final lap, I ended up seventh. Not a point earning result, but not a bad showing. All in all, this is a very fun race.

Unfortunately, as we crossed the line the weather turned bad and the 1-2-3's was ultimately canceled. Still, a good evening of racing for me ;)
